At Caribou, we take care of each other. It’s one of our core values and an essential part of who we are. But, it’s not just core to our team and our mission. It’s also about how we support and care for the communities we live in.
In recognition of Earth Day, Caribou employees across the U.S. will head outside today to pick up trash, tidy their neighborhoods and help take care of the planet we call home.
Taking care of each other matters at the places where we work and where we live. That’s why all Caribou employees are encouraged to take 8 hours of paid volunteer time off annually. Team members can select a cause they care about and get to work. This may include volunteering with a 501c3 organization, shoveling snow or raking leaves in an elderly neighbor’s yard, cleaning up after a natural disaster or supporting another community cause they are passionate about.
Our commitment to taking care of each other, our customers and our communities is one of the many reasons we’re proud of our team at Caribou.
