Primaloft Touring Bags offer more space than mummy style bags but are not as bulky as full rectangular bags. They are a good choice for cyclists, kayakers, and travelers. Their generous cut provides extra room at the knee, elbow, and shoulder. A Touring bag is a little heavier than a mummy because of the spacious cut, but the extra comfort can be worth the weight. Caribou Touring Bags have full length, spearating zippers. All Caribou Touring Bags will zip together or attach to our Joint Ventrue I System. These touring bags feature Primaloft PL2 insulation from Albany International. This excellent insulation offers an improved price point for those not requiring the special water resistancy of the original Primaloft. The warmth, loft and compressibility of these bags is outstanding.

PL2 is a short staple, 100% polyester fiber treated with silicone for water repellency, then heat bonded for long lasting durability.
